FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Andrew Cumbow is a professional Conductor, Music Educator, Composer and Vocalist living in Daytona Beach, Florida. Originally from Tennessee, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and Choral Music Education from King College and his Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Mercer University. Mr. Cumbow has taught in private, church, and public school settings over the past ten years and has helped many students accomplish their goals. Although he has plenty of experience on stage as a performer, his focus on teaching and the learning process is what gives him the edge with teaching students with varying skillsets and goals.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Regardless of the skills you wish to learn, the rate is the same, based on time. Younger students or students with smaller amounts of skills they wish to learn should opt for shorter lessons. A student below the age of twelve should never have more than a half hour lesson.

Payment per lesson is due before the lesson starts. Students are encouraged to pay ahead by month.

  • Thirty Minute Lesson - $30

  • Forty-Five Minute Lesson - $40

  • Hour-Long Lesson - $50

Lessons which require me to come to you will cost a minimum of $10 extra, since the travel time prevents me from having back-to-back students.
