Beyond The Baselines

Not only do we teach tennis, but we work inside the industry on a daily basis consulting and working with clubs and individuals on programming, instruction and more. We DO tennis and understand students' and clubs's needs and work hard to improve upon their wekanesses.

My teaching and instruction is top-notch. I have worked with some of the best players in the world along with being hitting partners for ATP pros and leading college players. I have worked with IMG athletes. But I take pride in teaching beginner to intermediate levels and bringing my students up through each rung of the ladder of tennis success.

The range of business experience I have had runs the gamut from heading up an international advertising and marketing enterprise in the United Kingdom, to forming a sports marketing company here in the United States. As a principal and managing director for fourteen years of Haysbridge UK Ltd., a $20 million direct marketing company of home entertainment products with headquarters in London, and offices in Ireland and Australia, and founder of SBW Associates, Inc., a tennis and fitness enterprise in Florida, I am well qualified to work successfully in a number of situations in or beyond the sports arena. I have managed and consulted for several leading country clubs, home owner associations and condominium communities to bring best-in-class tennis and fitness programs which contributed greatly to the overall social environment and financial success of the clubs and communities involved. I am currently Director of Tennis at Sippican Tennis Club in Marion, MA. Most recently, through my company SBW Associates, I contractually directed and supervised all the tennis and fitness activities at the Ocean Trail residential community in Jupiter, Florida. In my early tennis career I had been a teaching professional at such prestigious venues as Greenwich Country Club and Round Hill Country Club in Greenwich, Connecticut, and Silver Spring Golf and Tennis, in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Through social media, advertising, marketing, and networking, I have built a niche in the tennis, fitness and leisure industries in Florida and beyond, and look forward to bringing my expertise to this sector of the sports and leisure industry in the future.
