Hi there. I'm Mike Daley. My specialty is making tennis a fun and easy to play game! I've been a tennis Coach for 30 yrs. In that time I have worked with every level of player from 5yr old beginners to Wimbledon finalists. All are welcome. Let's get out there and have some fun!😊

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with a brief chat to assess the players level. Then we head out to the court to continue. We start off very slowly and move from stroke to stroke. The goal is to keep it fun while improving the efficiency of the movement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a coach for 30 yrs. I have worked at every level of the game from the ATP & WTA level to teaching 5 yr olds to love the game. One of my students was a Wimbledon finalist last year!

For recreational players:
$40 per 1/2 hr, $70 per hr
For Tournament Players:
$60 for 1 hr assessment/consult
How did you get started teaching?
Played tennis as a kid. Played through college. Coached in the pro's. Coached some of the top juniors in the world. Coached some of the top pro's in the world.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Two days ago I had a lesson with a very shy 5 yr old boy. We had a great time and he learned a lot.
The next day his mom told me that when he got off the court he told her that he didn't want to be a fireman any more. He wanted to be a tennis player!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire me.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Don't over think it. Find someone you can communicate with who keeps it fun and go from there.
