Alberto Tennis Lessons
About
Tennis has been and is my passion since I was 6 years old. I have played almost everyday ever since and it gave me the opportunity to get an scholarship and play college tennis at Missouri Valley College where I graduated few months ago. Now, I'm ready and excited to both work as a hitting partner or coach you, something that really motivates me and that I have been doing every summer for the past 4 years back in Spain, where I am from. The tennis Spanish culture has given me so many great things and most importantly the opportunity to be able to play tennis and get a degree at the same time. I look forward to hearing from you and have some fun on the court!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First of all, get to know each other and know what the goals are. Knowing which direction we wanna go and in what specifically the player would like to work on is a must before starting working with someone new.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing since I was 6 years old. I have competed tournaments nationally in Spain since I was 12. I got an scholarship to play college tennis at the age of 18 and just graduated recentely.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depends on where the lessons would take place and the type of needs. I am usually charging $40 for hitting partner and $50 for specific coaching lessons, like feeding balls or working on something specific. Prices are negotiable depending on location and needs.
How did you get started teaching?
I have coached at my club back in Spain every single summer since 2018 and I have loved every minute of it.
What types of students have you worked with?
Most often children from the age of 8 to 14. I have also worked with several adults as a hitting partner.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be willing to learn and to have fun while doing it. I believe practicing sports is the best thing you can do to spend your time and being able to teach something that I've been doing all my life makes me happy.
