Traditional Aikido Of Sarasota
About
Aikido frames conflict differently from most martial arts. Students are taught to welcome challenges as an opportunity to learn. An “attacker” on the mat is not an opponent to be defeated, but a willing training partner who is here to help you learn. Instead of blocking and resisting an incoming force, you will learn to move skillfully so that an attacker's own force becomes his undoing.
