About
Ben is entering his 10th season as the Eckerd College men's and women's head tennis coach. Before being named head coach, Ben served as the programs assistant coach for two years. Ben also works part time with top WTA player, Danielle Collins. Prior to beginning his collegiate coaching career, Ben completed four seasons on the Eckerd men's team, where he was team captain all 4 years. Ben has coached and trained athletes of all ages from junior players to touring professionals in an individualized, team and group capacity.
During Bens collegiate career at Eckerd College, he was team captain all 4 years and played number 1 singles and doubles. He was named the Tritons’ Most Valuable Player for the 2009-2010 season. He was also named in the top 20 in the Nation in NCAA Division II doubles and was ranked top 20 in the South Region in NCAA Division II singles. As a top ranked Florida junior player, he played international, national and state level tournaments.
He is a Head Racquet Stringer and Technician for top level Junior and ATP Tour events.
Ben tailors his sessions to the client's needs and preferences. He has experience training players of all levels from beginner to the professional level, as well as adult players looking to improve their game. Both 1 on 1 and group sessions available.
