We are Classic City Karate, the Athens Chapter of Cuong Nhu Martial Arts. We are a traditional martial arts school that teaches Cuong Nhu, an eclectic blend of 7 different types of martial arts. We are a community-oriented group that requires no contracts or experience. We believe martial arts are good for you physically, mentally and spiritually. Our goal is to build not just better martial artists, but better people.
Sensei Shawn McElroy is a 3rd degree black belt and has been teaching adult and youth martial arts since 2001. He teaches women’s self defence, youth after school clubs and adult martial arts classes.
