I have been a Certified Chef since 1987, and teaching since 1985. My experience in the Culinary arena include; Executive Dining Room Chef (5years), Restaurant Chef (7 years), Residence Private Chef (12 years), and Chef on a Private Railroad Car.
I do the shopping , bring all equipment needed for class, and a copy of all the recipes, prepared in class. Also, have extensive experience with elementary/secondary school culinary instruction.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every class begins with a knife skills demonstration, and going over the menu with the Student(s). By assessing their knowledge of the cooking techniques involved, and the questions that are asked, I determine at what level of instruction would benefit the student best.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my training, with one on one instruction, under a Certified Chef, for 4 years.
Received a Certified Culinary Professional distinction from the International Association of Culinary Professionals in 1987.
Have been instructing cooking, since 1985
