I love the game and its a beautiful thing when you can enjoy playing the game at your highest skill level and have fun doing it. Love to see students do good.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initial assessment and plan development to determine what the student wants to achieve.
Work on skills and compete for playing experience.
Evaluate feedback to make sure goals are accomplished.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Began playing as a early teenager taught by tennis pro Branch Curington in Atlanta, Ga. Was sent to mini camp at Nick Bollettieri by Roy Emerson. Received a partial scholarship to Florida A&M after high school. Taught tennis while in college and .in community settings at home. Also a consistant ALTA tenis league player for 40 years. Recently i retired from another profession, so I am begining again to teach tennis. So I don't have any recent reviews.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing system is based on the commitment and goals of the student. Since this is a new beginng for me I am starting low and will make adjustments as necessary.
How did you get started teaching?
i started out in college teaching other students and when I returned home I taught kids and adults in my community.
What types of students have you worked with?
Children and adults ages 10 and up.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My wife and I travel to some of the Pro tournaments, U.S. Open, Miami, and recently last year BNP Indian Wells. These events are great for learning the game. The BBT in Atlanta is a great experience.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Students want to match up with someone that has the same goals as the student. Someone with experience and knowledge. Someone you can get along with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about why they want to take lessons and what they want to accomplished with tennis.
