Head Coach for Women's Tennis at Clark-Atlanta University.

Head Coach for non-profit Kidz & Tennis Rule Community Tennis Association.

Fun, patient and encouraging teaching style.

Great at helping kids develop a love for the game.

Division Champs on Women's ALTA team.

Teach all ages and skill levels - great with kids and beginners.

PTR certified with 12+ years of teaching experience.

I was a kid who wasn't exposed to athletics as a child. I played on a basketball team for the first time in the 7th grade and began playing tennis in college, around the year 2001. So I truly understand what early exposure can do for a child, or person for that matter, in figuring out who they are as a person. I want to help my clients learn who they are or who they want to be through the game of tennis!!!!

I absolutely love helping kids achieve success and confidence on the tennis court on DAY ONE!

    Frequently asked questions

I work to develop the person, the athlete and then the tennis player, in that order. I develop their ability to be independent thinkers since tennis is a Think, Move & Hit sport. Athletic development takes place in each lesson via my ABC's: agility, balance, coordination, strength and speed or some variation of theses components. Tennis and game development skills are a main focus of the lessons. We will focus on one of the 5 game situations: Serve, Return, Forehand and Backhand, and Approaching and Defending the Net.

I am PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) certified. This organizaiton requires that their members maintain constant education to be able to deliver quality instruction to those that want to learn the game.

Lessons are acquired in packages of 6, 12 and 24 lessons.

I was recruited to teach tennis over a decade ago while I was at the gym playing basketball. I haven't looked back since.

I have worked with beginners, intermediate and advanced level players.

I was invited to a Teaching Essentials 1 Workshop at the National Tennis Campus in Orlando, Florida to continue my education.

Please be eager and open to learn. Allow yourself to enjoy the process.

Do I need to purchase a racquet? If so, what size? Where can I purchase a racquet?

Am I willing to travel to the location for the lessons?

Does the coach work with the Special Needs population? (Coach Daisha does by the way!)

Am I willing to commit long-term after the first package is complete if my child or I find tennis enjoyable? Tennis is a sport that you can play for a lifetime. :)
