When I came to Mr. C my understanding of my voice and what I had was very limited. I thought I could only do a few things vocally. He was able to see what was in me before I could. He was one of the first people in my life to really help me believe in my singing voice. Through our time together I developed my vocal range, falsetto, vocal exercises and confidence in the range of my voice. He went the extra mile in so many ways as a teacher by even showing up and accompanying me on the keyboard at my performances, giving me opportunities to play, and always being available when I had questions or a needs. Being Nancy's son, I've witnessed firsthand a lifetime of dedication to her craft. She has amazed and inspired me since childhood. Her sensitivity to individual students' needs, her ability to communicate musical concepts in clear terms, and her talent for connecting with students of any age and from any walk of life, are but a few of the MANY reasons I recommend her as an instructor. With how much she poured into my own education as a child, the advantages I enjoy as an adult are a testament to her teaching nature. She carries this quality into her teaching. Over the years I've seen countless pupils flourish under her guidance—and in some cases, even embark on musical careers of their own!

Miss Claudette has given lessons to my child for a few years. She has done an excellent job teaching him the basics and helping him build his confidence to become an excellent piano player. In addition to Miss Claudette being an excellent teacher, she is also very patient and accommodating. She is usually able to adjust her schedule if we have a scheduling conflict. She was also very helpful when my son requested to play an event. She was able to help him organize a small performance with just a few weeks notice. We were very proud of his performance. We could go to an instructor closer to home, but we really enjoy Miss Claudette and would highly recommend her.

I feel very fortunate to have found Raisa as a piano teacher. I am an advanced adult student who has played the piano for many years and studied with many teachers. I am truly convinced that Raisa is an exceptional teacher – she has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the music including styles, historic context, technique, and of course, musicianship. And she conveys this knowledge effectively and often with a great sense of humor. She has shown me how to make difficult technical problems easier (I am playing pieces that I never thought I’d be able to play) and given me a greater understanding of how to analyze a piece of music – always in a manner that makes the knowledge transferable to other pieces of music. What’s most important to me, however, is that I feel that I am always being challenged to reach my personal best. She does not let me settle for “just okay” or “just good”, but encourages me to listen and work out those details in the music that separate the good from the artistic. Because of her, I believe I have really grown as a musician.

What can I say about David Palmer. I really feel that words can't adequately justify my deepest appreciation for his positive affect on our family. I first found out about Davide when I asked a trusted friend, Cary Thrift, who also rebuilds pianos, for a recommendation with regard to a piano teacher. Let me say that music is everything to my daughter, Rachael. She has both passion and talent. Rachael started playing flute at about the age of 12; and, by 14 was privately taught by members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. She also demonstrated a talent for voice and was working towards playing other instruments like violin, harp and guitar. When she mentioned an interest in piano that prompted me to ask Cary Thrift for the recommendation. Cary's response was simply, "If you want a teacher that will accomplish 6 years of training in just 3 then Davide Palmer is your man". He continued by saying that when he listens to Davide's students the difference is compelling. At 15, I felt that time was the biggest factor; and, I needed a teacher that could exploit her ability as quickly as possible. After a little more than a year, Rachael's progress is more than consistent with Cary Thrift's recommendation. Rachael loves to play and practices all the time. Not once have we, her parents, ask her to practice. Davide as been able to foster her desire to play and play exceedingly well. I have received many comments from phone conversations listening to Rachael playing in the background. Most commonly we hear, "Who is that playing in the background they play beautifully ...". Being a proud parent I say that's Rachael and she has only been playing for a little more than a year. The usual response is, "Well I played years growing up but never sounded like that". The decision to make Davide a valued member of our family was the best decision; and, the results speak for themselves. The music she learns from Davide will benefit her for life and her passion is unabated. I have always felt that passion breeds success. Davide delivers that gift. Davide has my thanks, appreciation and highest recommendation.

Elena’s warm personality combined with her knowledge and experience is how she gets the best results for each student. She has been teaching my children for several years, and in my opinion she is one the best piano teachers out there today. We highly recommend her.
