I've played in several rock, jazz, folk , and country bands as well as solo and duo performances. I love helping people realize their musical dreams.

Acquire details with regard to the student's interest and background in the area of learning then move forward from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Music in Composition, Master of Music in Composition, Master of Arts in Film/Video Production. Taught private lessons for guitar, piano, and drums for 35 years.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone with whom you get along well. Qualifications are important but a sense of comraderie is not to be underestimated.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why do I want to learn this instrument/skill? Am I willing to invest the time and effort necessary to develop my talent? Am I considering a profession in this area or am I interested as more of a hobby or sideline?
