About this pro

Hello! I’m T’Arica Crawford, a working professional singer and actress. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre from Young Harris College, with a heavy emphasis on music. I have won many competitions at the state, regional, and national level with voice and have had the opportunity to study with many voice teachers from around the country.

Although I love performing, I’m also very passionate about the voice and discovering new ways to use it. I am always a student. I have years of experience in voice study and love teaching my students how to use and maintain their instrument in a healthy way. I am well versed most musical styles, with an emphasis on Musical Theatre, R&B, and Classical Music. My teaching focuses on connecting what is referred to as the “Head Voice” with the “Chest Voice” and uniting them into one voice where the singer eventually transitions seamlessly through their range.

I seek to keep my lessons affordable, while still giving my students a quality education. I want to make sure my they are always learning something that will carry them for years to come, just like my teachers have done for me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will ask about your goals and make the best plan for how we will work together to reach those goals. Then I will evaluate your range and we will get started on reaching those goals.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My rates are based on half hour blocks, with a slight discount if you decide to take an hour lesson.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Think about your previous experience so that your teacher can have a clear idea of how much education you have.

Think about where you would like to be after a year of lessons and what you ultimately want out of taking voice lessons.

Think about how hard you are willing to work towards those goals (I can guarantee you that you’re gonna have some work ahead of you.)
