Founded in 2013, Idaho Rhythm School of Music and Dance, located in Nampa, ID and surrounding areas, has been a leading voice instruction center for over three decades. Specializing in teaching students aged seven and up, the school offers a solid foundation in voice, violin, guitar, piano, and various dance forms including tumbling, jazz, hip-hop, tap, clogging, and ballet. With a focus on correct breathing, improved pitch and projection, and enhanced stage presence, the school has taught over 7,000 students, providing them not only with performing opportunities but also helping them develop important life skills.

I have been teaching piano and voice in the Treasure Valley since 2008, and I have been studying music since 1998. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Idaho in Music Theory and Composition (2010) and a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition from Vermont College of Fine Arts (2013). I have developed my own “Hero Academy” curriculum and level tiers to ensure that each of my students receive a firm foundation in both classical and modern music techniques, in music theory, and in different musical styles. Hello there! This is my third year of teaching voice based in somatic voice work and coaching performance with students from varying ages and experience levels. I received my BFA from Belmont University and have 15 years of vocal training. My approach is to help my students apply healthy, sustainable vocal techniques while learning how to use their own, unique instrument. I have taught in the North End for 12 years. Some of students have taking from me for 4-10 years. I have taught some students since they were 5 years old until their teenagers or grauduate high school. I normally just teach referrals but now looking to find new students that are excited to take. New students practice more and enjoy learning a new instrument. I only have a couple spots open and want to find students that want to learn piano, guitar, uke or voice. I have a business and marketing degree and minored in art and music. I am 39 years old and grew up with my mom owning a music store so I have actually taught since I was 14....
