Marquee Youth Stage offers individualized instruction on voice and acting technique to help youth and adults ages 5 and up in developing their craft as a performer. Marquee focuses on ensuring that the student works towards individual goals in order to develop the skills and confidence that will give them an edge as they approach their next audition, competition, or theatrical performance. Our instructors specialize in the areas they teach, and they are passionate about working with students as individuals. Students will develop proper technique in order to grow as a performer and work to develop their unique style.
Marquee Youth loves empowering youth and helping cultivate confidence so they may use their voices as a force of good. Whether performers aspire to become musicians, actors, or singers or just want to have fun exploring their creative performing artist side, the instructors strive to make it a fun and meaningful experience. We enjoy witnessing the growth and confidence we see when our performers take the stage, singing and acting with such joy, poise and professionalism.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin lessons by getting to know the student and his/her goals and working to see what strengths we would like to build as well as areas for growth. The first session allows the student and teacher to identify a plan for future sessions, be clear on what's expected and ensure that the student is completely comfortable and ready to engage in the process of developing the skills and confidence to tackle goals that are not only achievable and fun, but appropriately challenging and technique-based in order to gain a solid foundation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors are working professionals in the field of performing arts, music and theatre. Each instructor is highly qualified and has worked with youth for a minimum of 5 years and has a minimum of 5 years of training and/or B.A. or B.S. in their expertise.

Lessons are $30 for a half hour or $60 per hour
