I have been involved in music since 4th grade. Since then I have taught myself how to play many instruments with no lessons. I recently taught myself how to play the guitar and I feel that the way i taught myself can help others learn to play easier. I can teach you to play in a way that you will understand and be able to learn techniques easier than any other method out there!

I offer an in depth look behind the techniques used and why. In conjunction with the physical form of the human body, certain techniques are the only logical approach when really looking at and considering the physics involved. Also, I engage my students into training the mind to analyze and comprehend the theory used in the composition of songs in order to recognize the creativity and strategies used in the structure and relationships between the notes, harmonies, and forms. I believe that students interests should be addressed but also need to be prepared to be musicians. Reading standard notation and understanding how music works is essential to the process. I have a varied professional background, have performed in various parts of the country as a guitarist and bass player and have a BM in Music Composition and Classical Guitar Performance.
