We offer Spanish, French, Italian, and English as a second language classes to students of all ages and levels. Class settings range from in-person group and individual classes and private tutoring sessions to online instruction. Instruction is tailored to YOUR needs, whether you are learning the language to advance your career, you need tutoring for a specific class, or you just want to learn a language to keep your mind active. Instruction is scheduled at YOUR convenience and may be in person or online.
We have been teaching language for the past 21 years. Our belief is that learning a foreign language should be a fun, exciting experience! All of our instructors are highly qualified professionals and have many years of experience teaching the target language.
Sharing my love of language and culture and watching my students as they learn to communicate in the target language is extremely rewarding. I believe that learning a foreign language should be an exciting experience and I bring that enthusiasm and positive energy to my instruction.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will talk with you to tailor instruction to best suit your needs and goals. Why do you want to study a foreign language? How often would you like to have class? How soon do you need to learn the foreign language? Would online or in-person classes best suit your needs? Would you prefer individual or group classes?
Instruction time is valuable, so we will work with you PRIOR to your first class to set up a learning plan in order to make the most efficient use of your class time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many of our instructors are certified teachers. All of our instructors have prior experience teaching the target language.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on type of class (individual or group) and location of class (in person or online), as well as number of classes per week and length of each class.
How did you get started teaching?
Language in Action, Inc. has been offering language instruction for over 18 years in the Chicagoland area. All of our instructors have many years of experience teaching the target language to children and adults. Many are certified teachers.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with and currently work with students of all ages and levels (toddlers through senior citizens).
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should have a goal in mind. What do they want to get out of the classes? How much class time do they want? How much time are they willing to commit to learning outside of class?
