About this pro

We are a faith based martial arts school located at Our Lady of Tepeyac social center. The master is a minister of the church and also a 5th degree black belt who lives in the community. Our classes are significantly less expensive then typical schools and offer great quality of instruction.

I love seeing students develop great skills and  the pride and joy they bring to their parents with their growth and achievements.

I love when parents notice the positive changes within their child's behavior. When they notice they become more respectful and obedient and focused and more confident.

I also love seeing kids have fun and enjoy themselves!

Students are learning not just the art of martial arts but discipline and good manners. Aside from learning quality martial arts, they have fun and get along with other kids.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Greet them and their family get them oriented tell them a little bit about us and answer any questions they may have. Have them fill out a waiver with basic info. And have them begin class as normal.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 6th Degree Black Belt certification from Jidokwan (one of the original Taekwondo schools in Korea) and also American Moo Do Institute 6th Degree Black Belt Master Instructor certification.

I also have a Black Belt in judo as well as experience in various other forms. I have been studying for nearly 25 years and teaching professionally for 10 years. It has been my sole occupation for the past 6 years.

I also received a Skillz certificate as an instructor which includes knowledge of early childhood development as it relates specifically to martial arts training from children 3-14 years old.
