I a people person, I enjoy interaction with other and see them learn and grow. I've been working mostly with college US students for short periods of time during medical brigades, and for me, see them achieve each milestone with their spanish learning in so short periods of time is one of the most gratifying things I can get from my work with them.

When working with new students, I like to get to know them better, their expectations about the lessons and how slow or fast they want to go on each class.
I'm a bilingual Primary Care Physician who usually teaches pre-med students from the US that come to Nicaragua to do medical shadowing and volunteer work. After evaluating each student's level of Spanish, I start the process of teaching from basic communication skills to more advanced medical terminology.
Not really, It all depends on the frequency of the lessons and the student's previous knowledge and expectations from the class.
