What I love about teaching voice lessons is having a front-row seat when students have their "aha" moments: When they learn something about themselves, their technique, their voices, or maybe all of the above, and make better music than they've ever made before. Working one-on-one with aspiring singers, I can really tailor what I teach to the specific needs and goals of each student, which helps progress occur more quickly.
I have taught general music, theory, chorus, and private lessons to preschool through college-age students over the last 13 years. A third generation music teacher, I grew up “playing school” and knew I wanted to go into the profession from a young age. As an adult, I got bit by the musical theater bug, and now you can see me performing in many musicals across the country.
