Making my Spanish students think and speak well in the first ten sessions of Spanish.

Hello there! My name is Marcelo, I am from São Paulo, Brazil, and have taught languages since 2000. I started teaching Spanish at companies in Brazil, and then in 2004, I moved to Chicago. There I started teaching Spanish but soon more and more students requested Portuguese classes. Two years later I opened a language school dedicated entirely to Portuguese. I have been teaching languages (Portuguese, Spanish, and English) online since 2014. My method is conversational and intercultural. The students do learn vocabulary and grammar, but the time in class is used for the students to talk as much as possible.

I am bilingual. I currently possess a Master's degree. I speak both Spanish and English. I have taught Spanish as a second language to junior students. I possess a certificate in Spanish as a second language. I also have three years teaching Spanish at high school level. Currently, I remain a teacher at a high school, however, in a different subject area. I have five years teaching experience and about 14 years as a tutor.
