Making my Spanish students think and speak well in the first ten sessions of Spanish.

Hello there! My name is Marcelo, I am from São Paulo, Brazil, and have taught languages since 2000. I started teaching Spanish at companies in Brazil, and then in 2004, I moved to Chicago. There I started teaching Spanish but soon more and more students requested Portuguese classes. Two years later I opened a language school dedicated entirely to Portuguese. I have been teaching languages (Portuguese, Spanish, and English) online since 2014. My method is conversational and intercultural. The students do learn vocabulary and grammar, but the time in class is used for the students to talk as much as possible.

We love meeting new students, we help students to reach their learning goals and it's exiting to see it. We enjoy talking about current events in the city, in the country or even worldwide that keeps the interest because it helps developing vocabulary and hability to hear and reproduce new language paterns....

I’ve been living in Mexico for 20 years , Spanish is my first language. i love teaching, I’m patient I realized the only way to learn another lenguage is learning like we do with our first lenguage, no translate just call the things how they are.

Living the Language, founded in 2015 and based in Chicago and its surrounding areas, offers a unique full-immersion language experience for children. We also like to bring more Spanish speaking skills to children in low income areas and give one on one attention to those struggling with English concepts.
