Sherri Lasko

I love sharing my passion for music and teaching / inspiring musicians of all levels to make music from their heart… and even surprise themselves with what they can accomplish. I started piano with my mother, a gifted pianist and teacher at age 3 and have been performing publicly since age 4. In my high school years, I began studies with William Browning, head of piano at the American Conservatory of music. I went on to study with Reginald Gehrig at the Wheaton Conservatory and Carola Grindea at the London Guildhall School of Music for post grad. I’ve competed widely and performed solo and ensemble across the US and Europe. I have been teaching piano and voice for over 30 years.

I’ve also studied (and teach) voice, performing with professional ensembles, and have worked as a vocal coach and accompanist for many professional singers and choruses. I have studied conducting with several known conductors and currently conduct the Bread & Roses Women’s Chorus in DeKalb, IL.
