I have almost 30 years of experience teaching music, mostly piano and voice. Helping students discover their talents is what motivates me to teach. Every student is unique requiring a tailored experience which makes the job of teaching ever changing and challenging. I am a 1995 honors graduate of the Jordan College of Fine Arts at Butler University and have worked as a church organist, choir director, worship leader and as a professional musician in the Indianapolis area. I work with voice students age 10 and up and piano students ages 4 and up. Voice students learn healthy technique while exploring a variety of musical genres. I enjoy helping students prepare for various auditions and performances. Piano students receive a good technical and theory foundation preparing them for future music studies. I do offer a free trial session/interview for all new students. My favortie thing about teaching is watching students have that "Aha" moment when something finally clicks!...
