Music is the worlds universal language and my first love. I started learning guitar at 7 but I was more interested in playing drums. I still have my 1st set. I started producing music in my early 20's really just for fun. After a while I became frustrated because I didn't know my way around the piano. I was limited in my skill because I was lacking in my knowledge. I tried books, magezines, YouTube and everything free. Those resources definitely helped but only to scratch the surface. Private Percussion Lessons
I like to incorporate all areas of percussion when teaching. I will often reference videos online of whatever it is we are working on or a video of something related. I also like to break everything down so my students understand how rhythms work and how to count them. I always do my best to keep it fun and interesting and try to always be honest with them about all things and meet them at their level while also inspiring them to do better and and rise above.
