About
As a new private lesson instructor, I want to ensure that my students enjoy what they are learning. Any task is achievable, and I want to help show that to others.
I enjoy showing others that they have talent. That they have the ability. That they have what it takes to be amazing. Music is life-changing, and I want to spread that message to as many people as I can.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will start by getting to know a little about the student first. That way, I am able to have a better sense of how they learn. Then, I will have them tell me about what they have learned so far musically and what they want to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a junior at Indiana University Southeast pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Vocal Music Education.
After I obtain my Bachelor's degree, I would like to pursue a Master of Music in Music Education or Musicology.
My current goal is to be a music teacher at the secondary level. I would love to teach general music, music theory, music history, choir, and voice.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching private lessons when my younger brother was cast as the lead in his high school's musical. He called me and asked if there was any way I could help him, and I agreed. In addition to currently teaching my brother voice, I tutor students in music theory and music history.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with:
A high school aged alto
A high school aged baritone
Undergraduate music theory students
Undergraduate music history students
