We offer Kindermusik classes for children from babies up through 1st grade. Then Simply Music piano lessons and voice lessons are offered for those 2nd grade and up.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We always do a free class where we can meet the student and parent and see if we are a good fit for each other. We evaluate if the child is ready for lessons and if they would do well in the method we teach. We try to tweak the lessons to the pace the student is most comfortable. The majority of our students are placed in a piano class. We do have private lessons available if a child has some learning challenges that make it necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I (Kim Bemis) studied music education in college with piano as my principle instrument. All of our teachers are trained specifically in the Simply Music piano method and we do on-going education for our teachers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We require that all students practice at least 5 days per week. If you get any less than that, the student really doesn't see good progress. We also have an on-line program that we use to track practicing and the lesson assignment.
