Leigh has won multiple awards for her art and her work has been seen in juried shows and gallery venues around Kansas City for years. She loves sharing her abilities with students, encouraging and challenging them to grow in their skills and love of drawing and painting. Her work can be seen in her gallery and studio, Coffman ArtWorks located in downtown Tonganoxie, Kansas I love to paint and draw. Being able to share that with others and see them grow as artists is fulfilling.

I have been a self emplyed artist for over 40 years doing fine art, murals, and Illustrations. Although I am still busy I wouldn't mind a few students at this time. My most recent large commission is a historical mural inside the State Capital in Topeka Kansas. I can't imagine a greater feeling than to paint an idea and someone wanting to hang it in there home or to complete a commission where thousands of people will view it for years to come

Hello! I have been teaching high school art since 2004. I’m experienced in teaching drawing, painting, ceramics, and a variety of other mediums and techniques. In addition to my full time teaching job, I host painting parties for all ages and art camps & classes for students in 1st-12th grades. I love meeting new people and helping students discover & expand their creative talents.
