I’m an artist by nature even though I’ve graduated from nursing school. However, my passion about art was always living in my shadow. I’ve been painting professionally since 2013. I exhibited at local art galleries like Art Works of Eagan multiple times as well as I had my own private exhibition. I won the first place for my art work Eternity in 2019. I do enjoy connecting and working with people in all ages. I do believe that everyone is an artist on their own way, I like to challenge myself to unlock the little artist inside each of my students  and get them to know each other.   I do teach from painting, step by ... My business is not about business, it's about the aesthetic creation, historical awareness and emotional and psychological sophistication required to enter the ranks of generous artists.I made my first drawings, paintings and sculptures in the 1970's. And my most recent show just ended April 2018 at MoMA in NYC.

I started my photography training during high school in 2004.  I took a film photography class with a Canon Rebel SLR in that taught me not only how to control a camera but how to develop black and white photographs in a dark room.  From there I took more courses to learn how to operate a digital SLR in college and also took a lighting course which was suprisingly interesting and helpful with my photography. I have enjoyed a part-time career of doing portrait photography and commercial photography since.  I did food photography for a new menu I designed for a Sushi resteraunt in Rochester, MN. My photos were blown up and applie ... View Profile

All drawing and painting methods are designed to have students work through observation of the subject. If your learning to create a still life you will create by actual abservation.  if you are drawing a portrait , the student will draw from a model. I teach through demonstration so all students can see my methods start to finish

Infinite Illustration Styles

Infinite Illustration Styles

I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil- often disappearing into my sketchbook for days.  Being such a young artist, I spent much of that time casually influenced by cartoons, video games, and books. Witnessing so many drawing styles inspired me to explore the expanses of my capabilities, a positive consequence of which is now I can mimic most any style.  I began my professional career in the 8th grade, drawing caricatures for my hometown's summer festival, and by commission. I have taught others the way of the line since about 10th grade, when I was invited by my art teacher to lead a project focused on exploring cartooning ... View Profile

My strengths as a teacher are demonstrating how colors are relating, how to make your colors pop, and mixing a palette. I enjoy creating lessons that reveal the foundations of painting and drawing in an easy to understand way. After we have the foundations, we learn about what happens when we break the rules and finally we explore developing content. Why are you making art, what do you want to say, what happens when your work is guided by intuition? ... View Profile
