It will be meaningful if you want to be an artist at any level-You go at your own pace. Critiques are genuine. You are encouraged to try different mediums, use new techniques. Discuss things like negative space, proportions and framing a subject, tricks with tools, or talk about stories from Kingman's years of experience in the relaxed atmosphere of his studio space. Above all, you will enjoy yourself, as you watch yourself progress!

Lauren is such a great art teacher. I’ve always just accepted that I didn’t have any artistic abilities, but she totally proved me wrong. By the end of our first lesson, I had a painting I was proud to hang up on my wall. Her guidance and explanation was a joy to follow along with. She helped me understand everything from the very basics of painting, all the way to how I can add those slight details that really brought my art to life. After I retired, I wanted to learn how to paint the places my wife and I were planning to visit. I had always been interested in painting, but books and watching videos just didn't do the trick. I heard about Mat from some friends of mine who bought one of his paintings and said that he was willing to teach me how to paint! I figured I was a lost cause, but he was able to help me learn the basics and soon I was able to paint anything I wanted! It was an amazing experience, and now I'm able to paint all the places my wife and I go to on vacation.
