Shotokan Karate-Do/Japanese: A very strong martial art. Karate-Do means way of the empty hand.
My training started in 1971 in Lima Ohio, I continued my training under Dwight Holley Hanshi, 9th dan; Chairman and Head Instructor, Karate of Japan Federation since 1986.
I started teaching at the University of Louisville and the East End Boys Club in 1973.
Certifications: 7th Dan; Co-chairman KOJF, Japan DNBK Certification and Rank,
Titles: Kyoshi, Shihan Dai, Certified and Licensed by the Emperial Government of Japan and the Japan Education Department. International Technical Advisor, Sri Lanka KOJF.
I have been teaching in Louisville, Kentucky since 1973 with the assistance of 5 Staff Instructors.
I work with Students 5 years old and up and also with Special Needs Students as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All new students are encouraged to visit our Dojo and/or participate in class for four {4} classes prior to signing an application. We have a "NO Contract" policy with all of our students!
