Dancing Grounds

One of my favorite places in all of New Orleans! There are a ton of different styles you can take, and different levels depending on your dance experience. You can get a great workout, improve your technique, and have a lot of fun. Classes are so affordable, and you know youre supporting a local non-profit that also offers amazing dance education to youth around the city.

DG has excellent instructors that create a warm and welcoming environment for dancers of all ages and experience levels to move.

Dancing Grounds is a fantastic place for anyone who wants to get fit, work on their dance technique, try dance for the first time, or meet an incredible community! The instructors are the best- they are always encouraging and energetic. It is rare to find such a great studio that offers a diverse selection of dance classes for adults for such a low price. Dancing Grounds is also a non-profit organization that does amazing work in the New Orleans community.

The staff and faculty are some of the most compassionate people I’ve met in New Orleans! Dancing Grounds also has all the classes around the city I can’t get anywhere else.

Dancing Grounds is a truly magical place. I have probably taken more than half of all the classes they offer and have never been disappointed. The instructors are kind and funny and welcoming and always create an environment where all bodies can move. I love this place so much.
