Groove Guru Drum Lessons & More
About
I'm Michael, a Berklee College of Music Alum working as a drummer and producer for several award winning corporate bands, original artists, and on sessions for internationally recognized songs! My biggest passion in life has always been in music, but at different stages of my development getting the results I wanted wasn't easy. I was lucky to find the knowledge, encouragement, and motivation I needed from my instructors both at Berklee and outside of the school. Then, the key for me was then turning the large amount of musical knowledge I was acquiring into real world skills, which would transform my playing and land me gigs I loved with real players and real paychecks! I’m excited share this with eager, up and coming musicians. Whether you’re a beginner, long time hobbyist, or looking to make a career in music, the things we'll cover can help you get the most out of yourself and your instrument, and have a blast while you’re doing it!
I look forward to learning your goals and aspirations, and working together building a plan to get you there. I firmly believe that vision + hard work = results.
Lets make some music!
Being a performer and teaching go hand and hand, what I've gained from my instructors is priceless, and while I love working as a professional drummer, the satisfaction of giving back what I was lucky enough to receive in the terms of motivation, encouragment, and knowlegede is a huge part of why I love teaching as well. Watching the time a student puts into their craft transform into results and beauitiful music is a great process I'm lucky to tke part in.
