I am a freelance acting and filmmaking teacher, with an MFA in Film Directing and a BFA in Film and Drama, and I have taught in both the LA and Boston areas. Currently I am preparing to teach Acting for Camera lessons, to teach students both the technical aspects and art of acting for the camera (and for Zoom). I also teach classes in acting for stage, acting for singers, scene study, monologue study, and filmmaking. My prreferred acting methods are Uta Hagen and Stanislavsky.

When I begin to work with a new student, I start by asking about his or her prior knowledge and experience. I also learn what the student is looking for, and develope specific goals and class expectations.
I have a B.F.A. in Film and Drama, and an M.F.A. in Film Directing. I have been teaching aspects of acting and filmmaking in both the Los Angeles and Boston areas. I also teach music to students with special needs.
After I finished graduate school, I moved to the Boston area, and immediately took the theater teacher licensing exam. Teaching theater and film has always been my goal.
I have worked with students from ages 6-96, including people who are neuro-typical and people with cognitive disabilities.
