Hello! I am a performer and educator, graduating from Boston Conservatory in spring 2023 with a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance.
I teach viola and violin students with the goal of guiding significant musical improvement and providing a well-balanced musical education. Taisiya is an excellent viola teacher. She tailors the lessons to your goals and makes sure to emphasize your strengths while providing careful feedback on your weaknesses. She is great at explaining concepts and can always provide a nice demonstration of techniques while explaining them well enough to try myself. She also puts a lot of effort into organizing studio recitals so that students can showcase what they've been working on every few months.

Helen was very professional and affordable. She brought a great deal of enthusiasm and experience to her teaching experience. Even though she is very busy she was always flexible with her schedule. One thing that meant the most was when she would share my learning experience with both me and my parents by filming me while I played. This helped me see areas in which I needed to work and also helped my parents see what we work on in practice and also the progress I was making. I loved working with Helen and hope I get the chance to do it again if she comes back to Maine this summer.
