About
Your list does not have a category for me. The closest it comes is acting lessons. I do not teach acting. I am an acting coach, which is very different. When I was active doing it it was because other actors would come to me and ask for help. So, what I would do is basically illustrate that there was more than one path to get to where they needed to be. I would bring things out of them that they did not know were there. Sometimes it was an intense experience. I was a lauded actor that had no intention of getting into coaching, but too many people kept asking for my help and offering to pay me. After helping a bunch of people for free I decided I would start getting paid and I continued to do so until my life had a major upheaval and since then I have not resumed. But last summer I was in a situation where there were actors practicing a scene and not doing too well so I stepped in to both direct the scene and coach the actors. The results were a huge improvement and the actor that I worked with the most went on to use my help to get his very first speaking role in a film. As an actor I worked with major stars and I mean that literally not just background. I came close to making it big more than once. I am one of the few actors that can say that while doing a play they made the audience literally forget that they were watching an actor in character. I was breaking down in a sad monologue so they yelled out that they loved me to cheer me up. That is called shattering the fourth wall.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Numerous classes but those were to help myself. I use different methods which vary to suit the student's needs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$35hr to let a client test me. Then $45 to continue. Cash

What types of students have you worked with?

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Due to the virus situation, I have been doing things online. Ex: the last 2 weeks I was helping with a couple of tv pilots. It was a whole car of other actors and me. Both times I was the only actor that was complimented by the other actors. The last time it happened it also resulted in one of the other actresses asking me to help her with a huge audition. I agreed and did it last night and she was very grateful and loved and used all my ideas.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There should be some chemistry between the client and the coach. Unfortunately the only way to determine that is by taking a single lesson or more accurately taking part in a session without committing to any ongoing relationship
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Again it is different for me. I am a coach not a teacher therefore my client already know what they want and need
