How did you get started teaching?

I starter teaching Spanish about 17 years ago as a way to chare Latin American and Latino culture in the US, through Spanish.

What types of students have you worked with?

I worked usually with adults, professionals and also have solid experience working with mid, high school, and undergrad students.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

If you are in the US, look for an instructor based in the US that understands Latin America! The reason why people learn languages is to be able to communicate with someone from another culture and a teacher that adds cross-cultural elements into classes made classes more engaging, fun and useful for students looking to interact with someone from another culture. You may find an overseas instructor that charges you a significantly lower fee without the resources and cultural understanding of a teacher based in the US.
