About

I like to think my teaching style is approachable, I strive to make it less intimidating to learn a new skill. Remembering years ago when I was a training chef, I try put my students at ease . I bring an understanding and gentle approach to the experience. Having owned a restaurant, attended culinary school and apprenticed with Cooks Illustrated Magazine, I bring a breadth of experience to each class. You will find it a hands-on experience, I will walk you through the steps of your chosen recipes or culinary style and then step back as a coach. I want you to learn by doing. I particularly enjoy working with young adults and their parents. It is an excellent way to bond with your kids while teaching them a useful life skill.

I love to cook and create. I'm a mother of 3 and have always enjoyed feeding the people I love. Cooking is not hard, it just takes patience, organization, the correct ingredients, good tools... and more patience ;0)
