Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We like to get the know the student first, so a phone call or email conversation is a great start. Once we have spoken, we determine the right lesson format for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a USPTA Elite Professional and PTR High Performance Coach. I work on educating my staff and myself by attending seminars, workshop and conventions. I teach beginners through advanced players. My youngest student is 6 and oldest over 80. Tennis is a great social distancing sport!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lesson rates are $105 per hour. Please call us for camp rates. For clinics, we are $35 for 1.5 hour clinic.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching at clubs and Parks and Rec programs since I was 15. I love tennis and teaching and have been able to put together and pursue my passion.
What types of students have you worked with?
From beginners to world class, I can teach them all.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love watching all the tournaments on Tennis Channel. My favorite non Grand Slam event is the even in Monte Carlo. The courts, setting and tennis is wonderful!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You have to practice, practice, practice to succeed.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Come with a game plan you want to accomplish. If you don't have a game plan, work with your pro to create one. This is how you get the most out of your tennis game.
