Frequently asked questions

I tend to try and get them to do a few exercises to see what skill level there on and then work from there and teach the bare basics if there completely new to dancing

I practice 3 times a day usually my sessions deal with the individual move or goals i have for that practice, i also tend to train my flexibility level as well as my breathing, health etc, I also train with my mentor once and awhile

I do not have a standard price as i like to communicate with the person(s) that would like to be taught, I evaluate there skill level then i go from there and its also depending on how frequent they want lessons etc. But i like to discuss and figure a price inside of there budget

I got started teaching my third year into dancing with the tradition of each one teach one meaning passing on the knowledge you know to the next generation or new comers
I've mostly worked college students but I have taught dancing to people with disabilities of varying ages and skill level
Recently one of my students entered a competition with me and she made it to semi finals, it was also her very first competition
Make sure they know what there doing, research them see if they have any videos online or ask people who have been taught by them. Make sure their experience is legitimate

I do believe that the students should ask questions of how long the person has been dancing, do they have videos on YouTube, facebook etc and what they would like to learn but students also need to know that they can't jump the gun on a move they have to take there time and develop the move
