How did you get started teaching?
I first taught Autistic boy through a grant. Then taught kindergarten but found that I enjoyed high school level as it also allowed me to coach and travel with the team.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who encourages you but also pushes you to excell at your full potential. I would never ask my students to do anything that I have not already done myself.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Always feel free to come talk to your teacher. Communication is key and I want you to be your best! Open door policy.
