Ongoing passionate 5.0 tennis player who performs in prize $ Men's Open Singles and 5.0 singles league followed by some personal practice with high level players while consistently learning new concepts to technique, footwork and drills effective for improved in skill level. I enjoy teaching begining-advanced lessions on the side while helping others apply new learning strategies to help them succeed.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Start out with review of current abilities followed by a review of technical strength and weakness and focus on one correction at a time without overloading student with information. Keeping it simple and fun with appropriate ball feeding from basket or ralley drills followed by games to help with building of strategies and further motivation. Most importantly, encourage the student to advicate and ask questions as much as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Full time Physical Therapist Assistant helps with understanding of patients needs and provide services appropriate for the patient. This experience helps me understand a student's need applyand appropriate services based on his/her goals and perspective.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching on and off throughout high school and college, however in the past few years I have focussed more on developing my own game up to an advanced college level and continue to do so as I help others learn new skills with new knowledge learned each day. Tennis is a never ending learning sport for everyone at any level.

Beginners, intermediate, advanced
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Select a coach who fits best with your personality and needs. I do not have a military coaching style. We are a team.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What am I trying to gain from each lessions. Learning comes with a conscious effort and it is important to keep each lession component after each lession to carry over to next time.
