We believe in teaching our students the significance of preparing great food quality, along with becoming knowledgeable practitioners who understand the significance of healthy food options that can and will benefit our students as well as the recipients of their shared knowledge with others. We also teach the benefits of being well versed in multiple cuisines, while learning to identify with and create multiple flavor profiles.

Gerald P. McCoy is Chef Proprietor and founder of NASIMO FOOD PROJECT LLC. After 32 years as a Chef and two years as an educator in the Prince George County Public School system: Chef Gerald decided to launch his own company to benefit and teach others about good food.

Chef Gerald believes that good food and fun go hand in hand, Gerald has a desire to teach as many people as he can through the NASIMO FOOD PROJECT LLC.

We at the NASIMO FOOD PROJECT all have something different that we bring to the actual "project" the project denotes building, nurturing, encouragement, and inspiration. Our work speaks to our joy and excitement for the culinary craft. It's very true when said, "do what you love and it will never feel like work but a labor of love".
