About
Along with my competitive swimming background (Middle School thru NCAA Division I), I bring classroom teaching experience, parent of young children patience, and an overall love for sharing the gift of knowing how to swim.
I enjoy being a part of the progression from timid and fearful non-swimmer to comfortable and capable lap swimmer that have the skills and confidence to save their own life and possibly take things to next level by joining a team, becoming a lifeguard, or even becoming SCUBA certified.

What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students ages 3 to 70. I've worked at the YMCA, Kidsfirst, Goldfish, and other places that provide lessons. In my experience and opinion, if you want to learn quickly, private lessons -2 to 3 lessons per week- are the way to go.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you looking to learn to swim, or to get better with your swimming skills?
Are you comfortable in the water?
Are you afraid/anxious when putting your face/head underwater?
