Cooking is love and everyday life, and a very important part too. However, most people are intimidated by it; is it too salty? How do I know when it's done? What do I need to cook with? We would like to help people demistify it and just cook! Cooking is as rewarding as it is therapeutic; slicing and cutting, sauteing and plating, it's easy and with a few basic techniques you can create incredible dishes and have so much fun with friends and family. I have been a professional Chef for almost 20 years and have had such a great and exciting life and would like to share that with others who are either experienced dinner party hosts or a novice. Some of the best memories in life are always around food and you can do that as well. I've been cooking at some of the top restaurants in DC, Boston, and even Lima, Peru. Being a Chef, teaching is an everyday part of life; constantly moving forward, to strive to be a better cook and leader. It sort of goes hand in hand.
Look for people who love cooking and not themselves.
Cooking is an art, science, passion, adventure so try to cook things you always dreamed of but were too afraid to.
Think of your favorite dishes how could you make them better or different.
Lastly, have fun and relax you don't need to be perfect just yourself
