How did you get started teaching?
I started when I was in 8th grade when my then coach asked me to try it out. I tried it out and fell in love!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have instructed all types of students. I teach 1-17, as well as adults, troubled youth with a host of issues and or conditions. I reach every student where there are and bring them gradually to the desired result.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Some kids respond better to group lessons; some respond better to private lessons that aren't as stringent. If you are looking to be the absolute best you can be, give me a try!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do you want to work on the most and why. What are your weaknesses? How can you better use your strengths?
