My son was really beaming during his private competitive lesson. He was totally grooved about it and raved about it all day! The coach was offering helpful ways to strengthen his breast stroke technique and the videos taken throughout the session showed that his stroke improved in the 30 minute session! Super cool to swim in a pool with a current! He loved it!

I visited for the first time today! My son loved it so much he cried for an hour after we left. The staff was so friendly and helpful...they took their time walking me through all options for classes, pricing, etc.....they showed me the entire facility which is so clean and I am a stickler for clean pools (I get an odd satisfaction from cleaning pools during the summer)....the locker rooms/showers/changing rooms are well equipped and spotless which is wonderful because a lot of indoor pool places smell like mildew/mold....this place is amazing and I would highly recommend it if you're considering swim lessons for your child!

My swim coach jasmine is amazing. She has helped me so much, I learned so much in such a little time. She is calm and very patient. I absolutely recommend her if you’re new to swimming.

My 6 years old loves Ms. Jasmin. She is really patient with him. She has taught my 12 year old daughter before when she was 6. I can’t say enough positive things about her. All I can say is that within a year, I can see a huge improvement with my son.

We have our kids attending classes here at SwimLabs Montgomery County. They love it here and I really appreciate how well they deal with teaching the kids in a fun yet focused manner. My kids swimming abilities have grown tremendously in a relatively short period. we have tried a couple of different schools, I would highly recommend this swim school over the others.

We moved to the area when swim labs first opened up. After not being impressed with the other options offered in the area we decided to give swim labs a shot. They were the only place that didnt require 3 year olds to be in a parent tot class and instead had a toddler transition option which was exactly what he needed. My son has thrived under the instruction of many of the teachers, especially Deanna. They take the time to really teach the kids in the way they learn best. They are extremely patient and kind. We love everything about swim labs and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome swim school.

SwimLabs has been the ideal place for our 3yo to start swim lessons! She loves her teacher, Mr Richard, and looks forward to her weekly class. Their approach is responsive to the individual swimmer and where they are at. The front staff is also so kind and well-organized- and the facility clean and not overwhelming for my little one! Highly recommend.

Our kids (a beginner swimmer and a more experience swimmer) since SwimLabs opened late last year (2018). Our experience has been wonderful. As the kids have moved up to higher levels we've been able to experience a good number of the instructors and have found the lessons to be consistent with each instructor. They are extremely patient, especially with my busy four-year old. We've experienced other swim methods (British Swim school, county recreation lesson) and although those have their benefits too, we've really enjoyed seeing the kids learn to swim using the jets. Pretty neat! The parents typically sit in a nearby area just outside of the pools and watch through tvs and large windows set up in a sort of lounge (coffee and tea are provided). Every few weeks they invite the parents in to the pool area during the last few minutes of class to see up close what their kids are learning. The bathrooms, showers and the changing rooms are really new and clean and they offer shampoo, conditioner, body wash along with hair dryers. Definitely glad we found this place.

My 3 yo started his group lessons last weekend, and it was a big hit. He tends to be very nervous about new things, and previous attempts to get him in a regular sized pool have not gone well. But he loved this -- the instructor was fantastic, and he was perfectly comfortable with my husband leaving him in the pool for the entirety of the lesson. He had fun and is excited to go back, and delighted to show us his bubble-blowing skills in the bath afterwards.

My 7 year old son had been to beginning swim lessons 4 times when we decided to try SwimLabs. My son has some special needs and was scared of putting his head and face in the water, even with the numerous lessons and my husband and I encouraging him when we went to the pool. I talked to SwimLabs about our experiences and they recommended private swim lessons with their special needs instructor, Deanna. While these lessons were more expensive than group ones, they have been well worth it. After four lessons, my son can put his face in the water, blow bubbles, and dunk himself. On the day we go, my son says, "I love SwimLabs" and is excited to go. (Before, he'd be so reluctant to go.) . He's now ready to move onto group lessons. I highly recommend working with Deanna if you have a special needs child, or any frightened little swimmer.

My 4 year old takes private lessons here and it's been great. Mr Richard is the nicest and most patient teacher. She takes an hour long lesson every week and the time flies by for her. He makes it fun and interesting and she looks forward to coming. We wanted to get her ready for the summer and she's already swimming short distances without a float.

I've been to two other swim schools for my kids and this is by far the best. There are 4 different pools: 2 for advanced swimmers that has mirrors on the bottom and video to watch their technique and 2 other teaching pools. The student teacher ratio is smaller and there isn't multiple classes going on in one pool. The pool temperature is also warm for our toddlers. The teacher for my 1.5 yo is excellent. She provides techniques that we can use at home and my daughter and the little one has done so well after 2 classes.
They have a nice changing room with two large private showers and 4 roomy changing stalls. Four open showers are also available in the pool area. Also provided are hair dryers, swim suit dryer, and lotion/shampoo! This is a very professionally run place and am glad we gave it a try.

My 3 year old had her first swim lesson. I'm so impressed with the facility. Everything is so new with tons of natural light. I loved the video monitors and the fact that the pools were raised so I could be there watching from the side with my one year old without worrying about her falling in. I didn't need to get in the pool. Rich was an excellent coach. He had unending patience with my child (can I borrow some of that?!) and by the end of the swim lesson she had made a lot of progress. She trusted him quickly and laughed a lot. When we left she said 'I loved it!' Can't wait to go back.
Shower facilities were excellent. They have a machine that fast dries your swim suit.
We are obviously not competitive swimmers, but the technology available there is impressive. Even as an outsider, I can understand the benefits of having video monitors to replay your stroke and compare it to that of other swimmers while your coach talks you through it. I don't know of any other swim facilities like this in Montgomery County, MD.
