Our Mission:
JFD will do our part in contributing to the overall development of young people through building up confidence, determination and cooperation to help face the challenges of life.
Our Motto:
Have an Impossible Dream, Dare Greatly to achieve it, and Don’t Quit until you do.
We will do this with a strong staff that will:
*Encourage each athlete daily
*Build strong relationships
between coach and swimmer
*Emphasize what it takes to win
rather than winning
*Emphasize character rather than talent
*Use our JFD Leadership Handbook
(We received an award for this leadership program at the
World’s Coaches’ convention)
We will provide the finest coaching in this county thru:
*Outstanding enthusiasm
*Appropriate goal setting and planning
*Unique learning progressions
Recent JFD accomplishments:
Nine short course & seven long course MCSL records
are held by JFD alumni
Two Alumni swimmers made Olympic Trials
In each of 2008, 2012, and 2016
One alumni won an Olympic Gold medal!!!!
In 3 years, 3 swimmers made top 16 in the USA
Our head coach was inducted into the MCSL
Hall of Fame
A JFD senior took first place in 100 back at Metros
Prestigious Awards
