Swim Instructor (All Levels)

Hello! I swam competitively for 13 years with RMSC and MCSL locally, and love to share my passion for swimming with my students! I teach all levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers who want to perfect their stroke. I have 5 years experience coaching summer teams (ages 5-18) and giving lessons in both private and group format. I taught intro to swimming at Oberlin College for college students and adults, and have also worked prior with British Swim School. BILINGUAL Spanish as well with extensive experience working with kids as an English Teacher and tutor in Spain (4 years).

I was fortunate to grow up in a swim community, and believe that swimming is a life skill everyone should learn. Through my work I strive to make my students feel confident in their abilities in the water and feel proud of their accomplishments- no matter how small! As both a coach and school teacher, I understand that each student may have different learning styles that work better for them, and utilize that approach in personalizing how I teach each student. Meeting new swimmers and seeing their progress is the best part of the job!
