About
I'm a professional opera singer and have performed in the greatest opera houses and concert halls in the world, including the Bolshoi Moscow, English National Opera, Opera Frankfurt, Teatro Real Madrid, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Royal Opera House Versailles, and many more. In 2019, I was the winner for best Male Opera Singer for Russia's national music, theater, and dance awards-The Golden Mask.
I have a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Voice from University of Michigan and was on faculty there and at Western Michigan University. Throughout my career as a singer and a pedagogue, I had the opportunity to work and study with renown teachers, singers, conductors, and coaches.
I’ve taught students of all ages, experience level, and musical styles, particularly in classical, musical theater, and pop. Many of my former students have starred on Broadway, opera, TV, and film.
I will cater lessons to each individual and lay a healthy foundation of breath support, musicality, interpretation, and vocal technique. I love working with passionate students, whether professional or casual singers, that are interested in growing as singing artists and recognizing their full potential.
With my combined experience and expertise, I believe we will achieve greatness!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin lessons with the foundation of breath support. Healthy and relaxed singing is rooted in proper breathing techniques and placement to reduce strain from the vocal folds and increase longevity.
